Is Homeber free?
For homeowners, always. Contractors can start their first project free.
Does Homeber handle payments?
No. Payments go directly between contractor and client, however you already pay each other. Homeber keeps the record of what was agreed, requested, approved and paid.
I forgot my password.
On the sign in screen, tap Forgot password? We email you a code, then you choose a new password.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Profile, then Settings, then Advanced, then Delete account. Jobs you shared stay on the other side’s record without your name. You can also email us and we will do it for you.
How do I report or block someone?
Tap the … button on their profile, an update or a file, or press and hold a message. Choose Report or Block. Blocked people are listed under Settings, then Advanced.
I got an invite I did not expect.
You can ignore it. Nothing happens unless you sign up and join. If you think someone is misusing Homeber, let us know.
